Directions to LVC

Office hours are by appointment only.  Please call for an appointment before coming to the Low Vision Center.

By Car
From Washington: Wisconsin Avenue north to Bethesda.  Left on Old Georgetown Road by Bethesda Hyatt.  Right at 2nd light onto Woodmont Avenue.  Our building Bethesda Place Apartments, is immediately on the right, 7701 Woodmont.  It has a big red awning and there is a Caribou Coffee on the corner.

From Rockville: Rockville Pike south to Bethesda.  Right onto Woodmont, just after passing NIH and Navy Medical Hospital.  Go through 5 lights.  Our building is on the left just before Old Georgetown Road, 7701 Woodmont.  It has a big red awning and there is a Caribou Coffee on the corner.

From Beltway, Coming from Northern VA: 495 to Exit 36, Old Georgetown Road.  It's the first exit after the 270 split.  Right/South on Old Georgetown Road.  After about 3 miles, turn left on Woodmont.  Our building, Bethesda Place Apartments, is immediately on the right, 7701 Woodmont.  It has a big red awning and there is a Caribou Coffee on the corner.

From Beltway, coming from Silver Spring/Baltimore: 495 to Connecticut Avenue.  South on Connecticut toward Chevy Chase.  Right on East West Highway, Route 410.  Cross Wisconsin Avenue and East-West Highway becomes Old Georgetown Road.  Right at 2nd light onto Woodmont Avenue.  Our building, Bethesda Place Apartments, is immediately on the right, 7701 Woodmont.  It has a big red awning and there is a Caribou Coffee on the corner.

Parking: Metered on-street parking is available but hard to find.  There is an inexpensive Montgomery County parking garage near our building that can be entered on Old Georgetown Road.  There is also a garage in our building.  If you use that garage, make sure to park on P3 or P4 and use the "apartment" elevator.  You can dial #0604 to enter the locked door at the entrance to the elevator.

By Metro
Red Line to Bethesda Station.  Go up both escalators.  Turn left down Old Georgetown Road.  Turn right at 2nd light onto Woodmont Avenue.  Our building, Bethesda Place Apartments, is immediately on the right, 7701 Woodmont.  It has a big awning and there is a Caribou Coffee on the corner.
